The four pictures above are of Jerry S's breeding and show stock in which the breeding pair was originally selected out and bought from. My friend was not a photo person and the parents didn't stay around for long after a few successful hatches. Those are the best pictures that could represent the orginal parents from Jerry S's. Pictures of my breeders and chicks are all on my gallery which is linked below.

Introduction

Jerry Schexnayder is one out of the two most well known breeders of the Malaysian Seramas. He is also the original importer of the Malaysian Serama who brought them here to the states. His breeding stock is from a VERY high quality pick. His Class A and B's go for at least $125-$175 each, not counting the ones that are of his Champion Lines. Fortunatly, a friend of mine, Mark H., was able to get a breeding pair (unrelated) of Jerry Schexnayder's Line. Class A Roo and Class A-B Hen. Because they are also from the Champion Line, they were bought for $350 plus shipping and it was suppose to be a good deal too!

What I am working with right now is the 1st and 2nd generation from the breeding stock, meaning, the offsprings and grand-chicks. I am also furtunate to collect from Brian Spark's Quality-Line to breed with as well. They have GREAT personalities and love to be around people. I can easily pick one of them up to look at. Currently have 10 Seramas to work with in total.

-------------------- F1 Generation --------------------

These are my "First Generation" Seramas! I got twelve to hatch from the first batch and VERY surprized. Its a perfect hatch rate, 100% : ) Anyhow, they are such cute little furry balls. Each weigh like a quarter when hatched and the size of a 9-cell battery only. I was gonna take some pictures of them right after hatching with the 9-cell but kept on forgetting. I am pretty sure I will have better luck next time. Anyhow, here they are!
