As a citizen of the U.S. and a legal resident of CA, San Diego, I feel that its my duty to help my community wherever I go and whenever I can. So far, in this "field" of my life, I have been able to reach out to elementary schools, clubs and organizations to share my knowledge.
I have helped the Poway School District, San Diego City Schools, and the Chula Vista School District. I am not sure if I can reach out further because its hard to try and do everything at once, (accounting for what I already have on my hands). Haha. Nevertheless, I am always looking for time to do things for the better good.

Hi Tommy!!!! Just to let everyone know Tommy is the greatest guy! He helped us incubate eggs and raise chicks for our kindergarten classes. It gave kids who never get to a farm to see real chicks being born and to bond with real animals. It was such a great experience for us and all of the kindergartners. He helped us through the whole process and even drove out to our school to come and get the chicks. Thanks you so much again Tommy, for your kind and giving ways and your knowledge to help others experience the wonderful world of your birds. You are truly one of a kind!!
Things I have done and are currently doing:
1.) Donate eggs and/or chicks for school projects. Students can learn how incubation works, how to care for small pets, how to be responsible, etc. A lot of great and endless opportunities from something so small : )
2.) Give presentations to students and non-profit groups. 4-H, Clubs, etc.
2.) Share everything I know with the people who have e-mailed me for suggestions and recommendations on handling and care of certain animals.
3.) Find homes for "rejected" or no longer wanted animals.
4.) Promote donations for the animal societies that I am a part of.
5.) Donate feathers and such for a good cause. The feathers from my exotic birds and fowls can be used to make hats, decorations, research, etc. Again, another thing with endless opportunities with a great spirit.
6.) Allow programs/groups to borrow the exotics for display at shows or fairs.
