These are my tortoises, I have the Sulcata, Desest, and Leopard. There are 6 total and are eatting their weekly treat. I have raised them for about a year now. They are all so cool aren't they?
Look at the Deset climbing over everyone for food. I am happy that even though they are different sizes, they all get along fine. I monitored their behavior the first 3 months and they have been doing great ever since!
: )
Charm raises 20 while Moma Hen 2 raises 25. I know its a large # but I check before I give them that many. At night, all the chicks are covered so thats what I look for. The moms are good too so I know it all works out : ) The moms are delicate in feeding their young so the chicks don't get hurt. Trust me...my father and I observe closely the first few days to make sure they can HANDLE that many.
They are all very cute, but when they are hungry...boy is 60+ chicks chirping @ once noisy. Haha. You can never get too much of that "chick" song...always : )
There you go! 18 of them! All so pretty! : )
The chicks are pretty friendly. I feed them daily @ dawn before school and 1-2 hours before dusk when I get home. They are very cute and they grow so fast!
My dad's beautiful birds. The hen have been laying lately, but not a lot. I hope she lays more frequently soon. They are pretty aren't they?
